Debut win for TOYOTA GAZOO Racing UK; street circuit debut in the US

TOYOTA GAZOO Racing UK took its first class win of the season in the British GT Championship at Snetterton last weekend. Scott McKenna and John Ferguson crossed the line as winners of the GT4 Pro-Am category. Among all GT4 cars this was good enough for third overall. McKenna, the first member of the newly created TOYOTA GAZOO Racing UK Young Driver Programme, also set the fastest race lap in the GR Supra GT4. The second race at the former airfield in Norfolk, however, ended for him and Ferguson shortly after the start following a contact with another competitor.

First street circuit race for the GR Supra GT4
Last weekend’s Music City Grand Prix in Nashville, Tennessee, was the time the GR Supra GT4 competed a street circuit. Forbush Performance completed a guest start in GT America on a temporary 3.372-kilometer race track in downtown Nashville. Matt Forbush took the wheel in both 40-minute races and crossed the finish line in eighth and seventh place in the GT4 classification.
