

With the GR Supra GT4, TOYOTA GAZOO Racing strengthens its focus on customer racing in order to enable motorsport-lovers to compete around the world. The GR Supra GT4 is based on the GR Supra – TOYOTA GAZOO Racing’s first-ever global model – and it is developed and produced by TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Europe. Development began in early 2019 and included an exhaustive test programme, covering more than 12,000km. Since then it has established itself as a race winner in customer hands in Europe, Japan and the United States.

A three-litre in-line six cylinder engine with single twin-scroll turbocharger has been tuned to 320kW (430hp) with a 7-speed sports automatic transmission, with paddle shift, and mechanical limited slip differential driving the rear wheels. An Akrapovič exhaust system is fitted and Ravenol provides first-fill lubricants. A high-quality coating is applied to the car using materials from Axalta, a global specialist in liquid and powder coatings.


The front splitter and rear wing are made of natural fiber composite, contributing to an overall weight of 1,350kg. Following the specification of the GR Supra road car, the front suspension is MacPherson strut, and rear suspension is multilink, with KW dampers at the front and rear. The braking system is enhanced through the use of a dedicated brake calliper for racing, six-piston front and four-piston rear, while running on Pirelli tyres.

Designed to appeal to drivers of all levels, the GR Supra GT4 benefits from its unique Intelligent GT4 Racing System which, through user-friendly electronics and automatic functionality, minimises distractions to allow the driver to focus fully on racing the car. The motorsport ABS can be fine-tuned over 12 levels and the traction control over six. The special multifunction steering wheel contains all the essential controls, while an eight-inch display in the carbon-fibre dashboard shows all the important information.


Safety is a priority and every GR Supra GT4 is fitted with a high-strength roll cage on the lightweight steel body, and an FIA-standard racing seat with six-point harness. The interior features a carbon fibre instrumental panel with a display and steering wheel specifically designed for GT4 competition.
