World Endurance ChampionshipTOYOTA GAZOO Racing is pleased to report that Kazuki Nakajima is making very positive progress as he recovers from the back injury sustained during the Six Hours of Spa-Francorchamps.

After spending several days in hospital in Verviers, Kazuki was transferred to the neuro-radiology unit of Nice Hospital in southern France for further treatment on his fractured vertebra. As a result, he is able to move and walk freely.

Kazuki will now spend time with the team physio in Italy for further rehabilitation as he aims to return to the TS040 HYBRID for the official Le Mans test on Sunday 31 May, with the target of racing in the Le Mans 24 Hours on 13-14 June.
